Mountains are huge chunks of stone rocks. They exist on abigger chunk called the Earth. Both are from the same material. Usually people consider that mountain are huge chunks which sit on another bigger chunk. But when Man probed various layers of the Earth, he found that mountain penetrate the fur layer of the Earth. This first layer is fifty kilometers Thick Mountain bases get linked with the Earth is armoring one. However to protect the upper layer of the Earth from being affected by the second moving layer Allah the exited in might fixed it by mountains which penetrate the Two layers satiation the first one Mountain fix the first layer just like the peg which foxes the tent. Therefor researchers found a root under each mountain which penetrates the layer of the Earth Researcher were amazed when they found that this fact has been revealed in the holy Own Quern says “And the mountains as pegs? “78:7” It also says And the mountain Hath He firmly fixed “79:32 Another Ironic verses He set on the earth mountains standing firm lest it should shake with you “31:15” Source the Age of faith dawned” By: Skaikh Abdel Majeed El Zindai

Shaking of Soil May 4, 2008

In the first scientific conference about the scientific miracles in Quran and Sunna that was held in Islamabad in Pakistan, a scholar of plant said that there is a Quran verse which tells us about a scientific fact discovered in 1827. In 1827 a British scientist by name of Brown has discovered that when the rain reaches the soil it creates shaking & trembling of molecules of soil. The soil contains various molecules that have different types of tins that packed on each other. When rains fall, these different types of this create different types of electrical currents due to the fact that tin may be of different types of minerals. These tins get ionized (the ion is a molecule among a group of molecules which have an electrical current. If the electrical current decreases in some of them they turn into a positive ion & if it increases in some of them they turn into a negative ion) When it rains, these ionic molecules get shaked and as water invades them from different directions (shaking and trembling of these packed ionic molecules is useful because it distances the packed tins & creates gaps where water can enter in-between the tins) they absorb water and their sizes increase. When they become satiated by water they turn to be mineral stores of water inside the soil. Plants get the supply of water for two or three months from these stores. Otherwise if these stores were not formed water will infiltrate to the depth of the soil and plant would die within a week. Therefore, the British scientist found that when rains fall on soil the different packed mineral molecules in the soil get shaked and by their different electrical current they get ionized. What Brown, the British scientist has found has been called by his name. Ironically it has been called “Brown’s Shaking”, whereas it has been mentioned in Quran before fourteen centuries. It has been called by that name because Man is not just and he does not read and inquire. If man wants to be just he should read what Quran said before fourteen century that “And (further) thou seest, the earth barren and lifeless. But when we pouer down Rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)” [22:5] Therefore Quran preceded the modern science in revealing the shaking of soil caused by rain, this is a great evident that Dawn is a divine revelation. It was revealed to the prophet Mohammed “PBUH” to give the most pusper guidance to human life as well as him to offer many secrets of the cosmos which he has to struggle to discover of he does not read and examine the content of Quran. In Tabouk, Water and Gardens May 4, 2008

Mo’ath Ibn Jabel, Allah may be pleased with him, narrated the following incident saying, “In the year of Tabouk’s battle, we (the Muslims) joined the Prophet PBUH in this battle. The Prophet used to pray both Dhahr and Assr prayers at the same time and Maghreb and Isha’a prayers simultaneously.* Then on one of those days the Prophet PBUH delaying the prayer, came out and prayed both the Dhahr and Assr; then following his going in and out and praying Maghreb and Isha’a at the same time, the Prophet PBUH said, “Tomorrow by Allah’s Will you would approach the spring of Tabouk. You will approach it at forenoon, (Al-dhuha).Whoever approaches it first should not touch it or drink from it until I come.”
As we arrived at the spring, we found that two Muslims had already got there. The spring flow was no more than the size of a shoelace (water was flowing in very little quantity). The Prophet asked them “ Did you touch any of its water? They answered, “ Yes, we did.” The Prophet scolded them saying to them what Allah made him able to say . After that, they scooped up little by little with their hands some water until a reasonable quantity was gathered. The Prophet PBUH washed his hands and face in that gathered water and then put it back into the spring. A big stream burst out of that spring and water came out rushing in great abundance. After everyone had his complete and full share of water, the Prophet said, “oh Mo’ath, if you were to live for a very long time, verily you will see every part of this place full of paradises.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Al-Fadha’el 2282).What is happening nowadays goes in line with the above Hadeeth. The agricultural evolution of Tabouk city and its surroundings confirm the Prophet’s Hadeeth. Tabouk is filled with gardens and orchards. The abundance of trees and plants of Tabouk makes it resemble the beautiful landscapes and groves of Al-Sham area.( Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine). Tabouk’s vegetable and fruit products have spread widely in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.

* Translator note:
In Islam, there are five prayers a day. Each should be performed at a separate time. Fajr which is at dawn is the first one. Then Dhaher being the second is at noon. Assr, being the third, is in the afternoon. Maghreb at sunset and Isha’a in the evening are the fourth and fifth prayers respectively. Yet in certain circumstances, two consequent prayers can be prayed at the same time during travel, war, and sickness; That is, (Dhaher and Assr) in the daytime, (Maghreb and Isha’a).

Professor Alfred Coroz is a famous Geology scientist attended a conference of Geology in the college of Earth sciences in King Abdel Aziz University. I asked him: Do you have information which indicate that the Arabian Peninsula had once upon a time, been covered by gardens and field? He replied: Yes, it is a well-known fact that it was so and the Geologists know it very well. Because if you dig at any place, you will find the traces which show that it was once orchards and gardens. There are many evidence which indicate this fact and one of them is FAO village which has been discovered under the sand of the Empty Quarter. I again asked him: Do you have evidence that indicated that the Arabian Peninsula again would be green orchards, and gardens with streams of water? He replied by saying that this is a fact that we know and the Geologists know it very well. They know this fact through measurement and calculations. We can estimate that this fact will take place in the near future. I asked him: How? He replied by saying that. Because we studied the past history of the Earth and we found that it has gone through an era called the Glacial Epoch. It means that the water of the sea turns ice and gets accumulated at the North Pole and then creeps towards the south. It immerses its surrounding and consequently changes the climate of the Earth. The Arabian Peninsula will get affected and turns into one of most rich lands with rains and rivers. The climate also will be called. I was linking between the floods and rains that take place at Abha area that which happen on North Europe. I was meditating and asked him: can you confirm this for us? He said: Yes, this is an inescapable fact. I told him, then who told the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) about this fact. All what you said is already mentioned in the saying of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The prophet said, “the hour will not take place unless the land of Arabs again turns into orchards and rivers”. [Refer to Sahih Muslim] Who said to the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) that the land of Arab was orchards and rivers so that he used the term “again turns”. The geologist thought for sometimes and said: The Romans. Then I asked him “Who told the Prophet that it will again turns into orchards and rivers. The geologist though and though and then said: “from the above!” Then I told him: write down. He wrote by his own handwriting: The scientific facts mentioned in Quran and Sunna amazed me. We could not know than before. Only the modern scientific method confirmed them now. This indicates that the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) received these facts from Allah though the divine revelation. Elzindani said: “O honored brothers: This is the stand of and unbeliever German. I felt that the Muslim Nation is in front if a great responsibility of spreading Islam. I can say that if the eminent world leaders find the evidence they immediately embrace Islam. They do not only do so but they also write &publish what they have found. If the Muslim Nation works earnestly one third of the scientist on Earth will embrace Islam only within ten or fifteen years. I swear by Allah that I met this German scientist for only two hours and then he wrote admitting that Islam is a divine revelation. This is one of the giants of science who wrote admitting this fact. This shows that there is only one science, one fact and one God. We, the Muslim are possessing the truth within our hands and if we except efforts to explain truth for non-Muslims they will embrace Islam. Now, we know that science is discovering many facts that have already been revealed by Quran and Sunna. This will continue till non-Muslims realize that Quran is a divine revelation, the truth from Allah revealed to the prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Allah promised to proof for non-Muslim that Quran is the truth. Allah says, “Soon will We shows them our signs in the (furthest) Regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until to becomes manifest to them that doth witness All things?” [41:53]. This is the age of science and very soon science itself will show that Quran is the Truth, and Islam is the most proper method of life. Miracle of Iron May 2, 2008

Iron is one of the elements highlighted in the Qur’an. In Surat al-Hadid, meaning Iron, we are informed:

…And We sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind…. (Surat al-Hadid: 25)

The word “sent down” particularly used for iron in the verse, could be thought of having a metaphorical meaning to explain that iron is given to the service of people. But when we take into consideration the literal meaning of the word, which is, “being physically sent down from the sky”, we realize that this verse implies a very significant scientific miracle.

This is because modern astronomical findings have disclosed that the metal of iron found in our world has come down from the giant stars in outer space.

The heavy metals in the universe are produced in the nucleus of big stars. Our solar system, however, does not have a suitable structure to produce iron on its own. Iron can only be produced in much bigger stars than the sun, where the temperature reaches a few hundred million degrees. When the amount of iron exceeds a certain level in a star, the star can no longer bear it and eventually it explodes in what is called a “nova” or a “supernova”. As a result of this explosion, meteors containing iron are scattered around the universe and they move through the void until attracted by the gravitational force of a celestial body.

All this shows that the iron metal did not form on the earth but was carried from exploding stars in space via meteorsand was “sent down to earth exactly the same way as stated in the verse: It is clear that this fact could not have been scientifically known in the 7th century, when the Qur’an was revealed.

( And We sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind.) (Surat al-Hadid: 25)

In addition, the 25th verse of Surat al-Hadid, which refers to iron, includes two interesting mathematical codes. Surat al-Hadid is the 57th Surah in the Qur’an. The numerical value of the word “Al-Hadid” in Arabic, in other words its Abjad, is the same number: 57. The numerical value of the word “Hadid” alone is 26, and 26 is the atomic number of iron.

THE PEOPLE OF LUT AND THE CITY WHICH WAS DESTROYED April 30, 2008

THE  DEAD SEA

The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut’s household: them We delivered by early Dawn,- As a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks. And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning. (Surat al-Qamar: 33-36 )

Lut lived at the same time as Ibrahim. Lut was sent as a messenger to one of Ibrahim’s neighbouring communities. These people, as the Qur’an tells us, practiced a perversion unknown to the world up to then, namely sodomy. When Lut told them to give up this perversion and brought them Allah’s warning, they denied him, refused his prophethood, and carried on with their perversion. In the end, these people were destroyed by a dreadful disaster.

The city where Lut resided is referred to as Sodom in the Old Testament. Being situated at the north of the Red Sea, this community is understood to have been destroyed just as it is written in the Qur’an. Archaeological studies reveal that the city is located in the area of the Dead Sea which stretches along the Israel-Jordan border.

Before examining the remains of this disaster, let’s see why the people of Lut were punished in this fashion. The Qur’an tells how Lut warned his people and what they said in reply;

The people of Lut rejected the messengers. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: “Will ye not fear (Allah)? I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. So fear Allah and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!” They said: “If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!” He said: “I do detest your doings.” (Surat ash-Shuara: 160-168 )

The people of Lut threatened him in response to his inviting them to the right way. His people detested him because of his showing them the right way, and wanted to banish both him and the other believers beside him. In other verses, the event is told as follows;

We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.” And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!” (Surat al-Araf: 80-82 )

Lut called his people to an obvious truth and warned them explicitly, but his people did not heed any warnings whatsoever and continued to reject Lut and to deny the penalty of which he told them.

And (remember) Lut: “Behold” he said to his people: “Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway? And practise wickedness (even) in your councils?” But his people gave no answer but this: they said: “Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth.” (Surat al-Ankaboot: 28-29 )

Receiving the above answer from his people, Lut asked for the help of Allah,

He said: “O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!” (Surat al-Ankaboot: 30 )

“O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!” (Surat ash-Shuara: 169 )

Upon Lut’s prayer, Allah sent two angels in the form of men. These angels visited Ibrahim before coming to Lut. Giving Ibrahim the good news that his wife would give birth to an infant, the messengers explained the reason of their being sent: the insolent people of Lut were to be destroyed.

(Ibrahim) said: “And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?” They said, “We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin; To bring on, on them, (a shower of) stones of clay (brimstone), Marked as from thy Lord for those who trespass beyond bounds.” (Surat adh-Dhariyat: 31-34  )

Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm) – All – Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind. (Surat al-Hijr: 59-60  )

After leaving Ibrahim’s company, the angels, who were sent as messengers, came to Lut. Not having met the messengers before, Lut first became anxious, but then calmed down after talking to them;

When Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account and felt himself powerless (to protect) them. He said: “This is a distressful day.” (Surah Hud: 77  )

He said: “Ye appear to be uncommon folk.” They said: “Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. We have brought to thee that which is inevitably due, and assuredly we tell the truth. Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: let no one amongst you look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered.” And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning. (Surat al-Hijr: 62-66  )

Meanwhile, his people had learned that Lut had visitors. They did not hesitate to approach these visitors perversely as they had approached others before. They encircled the house. Being afraid for his visitors, Lut addressed his people as follows;

Lut said: “These are my guests: disgrace me not: But fear Allah, and shame me not.” (Surat al-Hijr: 68-69 )

The people of Lut retorted;They said: “Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?” (Surat al-Hijr: 70 )

Thinking that he and his visitors subjected to evil treatment, Lut said:

“Would that I had power to suppress you or that I could betake myself to some powerful support.” (Surah Hud: 80 )

His “visitors” reminded him that they were the messengers of Allah and said;

(The Messengers) said: “O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?” (Surah Hud:81 )

When the perversity of the city people reached its fullest extent, Allah saved Lut by means of the angels. In the morning, his people were destroyed by the disaster of which Lut had informed them in advance.

And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. {They heard: } “Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning.” Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them. (Surat al-Qamar: 37-38 )

The verses describe the destruction of this people as follows;

But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand. And the (cities were) right on the high-road. (Surat al-Hijr: 73-76 )

When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer,-Marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong! (Surah Hud: 82-83 )

But the rest We destroyed utterly. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)! : Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.(Surat ash-Shuara: 172-175 )

When the people were destroyed, only Lut and the believers, who were only as many as one “household”, were saved. Lut’s wife did not believe either and she was also destroyed.

We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?

“For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.”

And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!”

But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.

And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime! (Surat al-Araf: 80-84 )

Thus, Prophet Lut was saved along with the believers and his family with the exception of his wife. As described in the Old Testament, he emigrated with Ibrahim. As for the perverted people, they were destroyed and their dwellings were razed to the ground.
